Are you lookin’ at me?
There are some new horses in the fields around the allotments. They are meant to stay in the fields around the allotments but on New Year’s Day they were trampling all over the allotments. Somehow they managed to jump the fence at a low point and make their way in. My plot is fully fenced off and safe but others are not so lucky… deep hoof prints dot the landscape.
Are you talkin’ to me.
Today I visited the plot and the herd was in the field where it belonged. They are a friendly lot though, and it was not long before they came up to the fence to say hello. I asked them if I coud help them in any way and they said… “that’s ok, we’re just grazing.”
Horsing around.
Lovely beasts but don’t go with vegetable growing- that’s hard enough work on its own!
The powers that be say they will be gone in a few weeks, so lots more shooing and photographing of horses till then!
Gorgeous shots, Val!
Thanks Hook!
They’re gorgeous!
It would be great if you could take part in my new “Fences Project”

There is a photo on the way!
I do like horses! Better when they are behind a fence as they are rather strong! Lucky for you that they didn’t come grazing in your allotment. Lovely photos!
