Good work Val – looks like a good range of things there. The ‘summer’ in Gloucester has certainly turned to Autumn but potatoes here are doing well. Any winter planting ideas? : )
Thanks Matt. I’m just planting onion sets and garlic to overwinter. My radar onions and garlic did very well over last winter. I hope to plant some red onions this time as well. The red onions I planted in spring this year were hopeless.
I almost gave up on my sweet pea but that one sunny week we had in the summer really gave them a boost. My peas, on the other hand, were a waste of space.
looking good. and not too wet
Not wet at all and my barrel was running low when these photos were taken. It’s full again now after a few days of rain.

I curse you for putting that song into my head for the afternoon but I love the photos!
Sorry about that! Hopefully the local festivities have erased it from your mind!
Yup that song is certainly catchy !! What a great programme that was though 🙂
Yeah, I have fond memories of it. I know Bill Oddie is still on the telly, I wonder where the other two went!
Looking tasty.
Yep, all roasted and devoured!
