Good balance.
This little birdy has been hopping around the plot lately. She comes quite close but will hop off if I move in her direction. I think she is a young female blackbird. She appears to have a damaged leg which is tucked up into her body while she balances on the other one. She is not the only one-legged visitor to the plot recently. There is a cheeky, balance-challenged male robin who comes to say hello too. I have decided to call them Elvira and Tony after the characters in Scarface. I do hope these birds have happier lives than those two!

Great film, great shot!
Thanks Chica, I must watch the film again soon!
Lovely picture. Always a joy to see birds on our allotment.
Hi Victoria, I do wish some birds would stop eating my carrot tops! Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment?
Beautiful shot, Val….
Thanks Hook. Iโd like to get closer shots but that would cost me an arm and a leg (in camera lenses) ! ๐
Awww.. those poor little guys, stuck on one leg! Gorgeous photo though.. I love birds ๐
Ah well, at least they have each other to lean on! ๐
hahaha
I think a lot of birds stand on one leg.
I did not know that, and a quick google search has uncovered a few of pics of robins standing on one leg! The bird in the above pic did have a problem though and was โlimpingโ about the place.
Poor birdie. It hurts me to see animals in distress. People, not so much. LOL
