Recently I was cleaning out my media folder when I recognised a face in one of the photos. The photo in question was part of the post ‘A quick look around the plot!’. It was meant to be a simple image of my potatoes, but in the background was a mysterious face in the shape of my watering can. At the time it was just a face, accidentally captured at a certain angle, but now I know better…
The face in question.
Mulder and Scully… I need you!

So funny – love it, it really does look the same!
It’s un‘can’ny isn’t it?
Ah, plastic and allotments!
Plastic, Oh No!!
Priceless!!!
I thought so too, that’s why I just had to spout about it!
i’m pleased you did!
Speaking of Scully….She stayed at my humble establishment Sunday night.
Can you imagine? Scully shows up the day AFTER Comic-con!
She could have made a small fortune if she had attended…
That’s another mystery right there!
Did you get her number by any chance… I need to ask her about the ‘face’ on my watering can?
I’m afraid not, Val…
Haha, that’s brilliant! Well spotted.
If I ever go to Easter Island, I’m bringing it with me!
Wonderfull :D, puts a smile on my face
That’s great… I wish those Easter Island faces would crack a smile every now and then!
Finally! You’ve solved the mystery Val… well who knows, they probably had big ol’ plastic watering cans back in the day as well eh? 😀
I have always believed there was more to watering cans!
Nice one!
Cheers, Bridget!
very well spotted Val, gave me a laugh!
I’m glad you got a giggle out of it, Lisa!
That is so interesting how one thing can remind you of something completely different… Is it not called serendipity?
Serendipity is right! Now, every time I water my plants, I’m on Easter Island. 🙂
Easter Island came calling…:)
Great photos, loved the second one! 🙂
As soon as I saw the image I was going to write ‘uncanny’ but I think you beat me to it! Good images there.
That’s uncanny in itself! 🙂
Wow, I saw it before read 🙂 Thnks God I’m not alone! 🙂
Welcome in to the mystery!
is that greatest mystery in your garden? 😉
So far anyway!
🙂
…. strange things are happening here….
…strange things indeed…
