Swinging in the rain.

Push me.

Thought I had lost my wallet at the allotment last weekend, so I went up on a cold, wet and windy Monday morning to see if I could find it. No luck. I decided to do a little bit of digging while I was there and on the way out I noticed the swing was blowing in the wind. A good photo opportunity I thought, but as I took out my camera the wind decided to die down. Standing there is the lashing rain, waiting for a gust, I decided to help nature along and gave it a little push! Immediately the wind rose up again and ushered me down to the car, where I was delighted to see my wallet poking out from under the driver’s seat. I did look there earlier… I swear!

The crows are watching.

  1. I’m loving the photos Val. Saw about 6 pheasants all busy going about their business today in the field down the road.

    • Haven’t tried it myself but my daughter spent 45 minutes non-stop on it the other day while I worked on the plot! Sometimes my view of the swing is obscured by bushes and I worry that she may have fallen off, but eventually she swings into view again.

  2. Thanks for visiting my blog and for the ‘Like’ and the comment… It gave me an opportunity to visit yours and view the ‘swing’. Loved the pic. It took me back a couple of months when my nephew was visiting and I felt like a kid (We were on parallel swings). Oh the joy of soaring up into the sky, with the wind in your face, hearing the happy laughter of a little child ringing in your ears. 🙂
